Content structure naming conventions are based on the PEGASUS method SP3 layers criteria to provide users with the correct workflow for AUTOCity to efficiently test and validate autonomous driving capabilities.
PEGASUS is a “Project for the Establishment of Generally Accepted quality criteria, tools and methods as well as Scenarios and Situations”. Its purpose is to research new methods for verifying highly automated driving functions, and to be the blueprint for the series development described below.

The assets placed on each layer of AUTOCity follow six layers that systematically describe the road scenario.

The AUTO City 3DCG database is optimized for PBR (Physically Based Rendering) and real-time operation and can be used for various simulation applications.
